I am not sure what to make of this. If they leave the company untouched, allowing it to continue crafting their very excellent chocolate (their semisweet is some of my favorite chocolate in the world) without interference, I guess it's fine. If such a fine product can reach a larger audience, that can only be for the good. But I always worry when a corporate monolith swallows up a small operation. If Hershey's messes with a good thing, I will be not amused.

In other news, something is on fire somewhere nearby. I could smell it when I stepped outside to get coffee an hour ago, and the hills are shrouded in smoke or something very much like it. Odd.
