My sleep schedule is all out of whack these days. We were up late last night, playing games and enjoying friends at R&S's, and I completely fell asleep on the drive home. Then after less than 4 hours sleep, I was up at 5:30. Poked around on the computer for about half an hour, went back to sleep for a couple of hours, then was up again. Then I fell asleep in the car again on the way down south for a birthday party, was a bit draggy throughout the event, almost conked out yet again on the drive home, then slipped into an hour nap.
It would be one thing if this were a one-time event, but it's gotten to be typical -- I wake up early almost every morning, sometimes go back to sleep for an hour or two and sometimes don't, and end up tired all day. Functioning on six hours sleep or less is pretty much normal for me now; I suppose I'm getting used to it, but I probably ought not to. I've tried going to bed earlier, but I just wake up earlier. Plus T is such a night person, and I hate to give up the extra hour or so with him each night. I used to be a night person, too; what happened?
