I recently read "Chicks Dig Time Lords"--the book is largely a collection of essays by people involved with Dr. Who--fan club bigwigs, convention regulars, Captain Jack's sister, etc. Point being that it seemed to me that librarians were overrepresented, statistically speaking. I'm pretty sure it was a librarian who wrote the "Torchwood Kids" webcomic which appears on Livejournal.
