Notes: This is my story for the mediavengers mini-bang project. If you're not familiar with MediAvengers, by nottonyharrison, I really suggest you check it out. It's one of my favorite things going in fandom right now. The artist's concept is to imagine how print media might cover the events and people of the MCU. One ongoing theme is that two competing movies are being made about the Battle of New York: a political thriller directed by David Fincher, and a Michael Bay blockbuster. Since I really love this idea, writing a fic based on it seemed the obvious choice. So that's what I did. Many thanks to justira for betaing.
